PG-300 series
Portable Gas Analyzer
The PG-300 is a compact and lightweight gas analyzer designed to measure up to five different gas components simultaneously. Its ability to provide precise measurements has been proven in both field and laboratory applications. Excep standard measurement components, the PG-300 series can provide measurement of GHGs such as methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O), facilitating GHG research and emission monitoring. With a 20% reduction in weight compared to previous PG model, the addition of shock-resistant side guards, and IP42 Ingress Protection as option the PG-300 is a robust analyzer suitable for field use. For more demanding monitoring applications like gas turbines, boilers, and incinerators, an optional preconditionong utilities such as electronic cooler, drain separator, drain pot are available for long-term measurements. The versatility of the PG-300 series makes these analyzers suitable for investigating environmental issues, testing stack emission, evaluating catalyst performance, and controlling process gas streams.
Features :
- The analysis principle for each gas component in PG-300 is as following.
The NOx detector uses a cross-modulation Chemiluminescence Detection (CLD) Method. The SO2, CO and CH4 detector uses a cross-modulation Non-Dispersive Infrared Absorption (NDIR) Method. CO2 detector uses Non-Dispersive Infrared Absorption (NDIR) Method. The O2 detector can be selected from 3 different types: Galvanic, Zirconia or Paramagnetic Methods. In terms of high accuracy and high degree of selectivity in analysis, the PG-300 is comparable with large-scale continuous gas analyzers and specialized units.
- Cross-modulation mechanism involves alternating the introduction of sample gas and reference gas into the same gas cell by switching a solenoid valve at regular time intervals. Since clean reference gas (air) is fed into the sample cell in between each sample gas measurement, the gas cell remains clean, which significantly reduces the span drift, and contributes into long-time stability. One more advantage of cross-modulation to the chopper method lies in its smaller zero drift and elimination of the need for optical adjustment.
- Models equipped with methane (CH4) measurement capabilities, are well-suited for a wide range of applications, including biomass combustion, fuel cell, greenhouse gas (GHG) research and development, as well as GHG emission monitoring.
- Easy operation ensured by user-friendly color LCD touch screen. The analyzer equipped with several useful functions, including screen capture, a color trend graph, and an inbuild operation guide.
- Warm-up time is reduced by half camparing with previous model, allowing it to be ready for measurements in just 30 minutes. Additionally, incorporated timer function enables the equipment to automatically start warming up at a specified time set by the user. The combination of these advanced features not only saves time in terms of readiness but also facilitates efficient measurements.
- The NOx converter’s 95% efficiency ensures high precision of measurements.
- Energy efficient design with up to 35% reduction in power consumption compared to our previous model.
- The front panel of the analyzer is featured with SD™ memory card slot, allowing for quick and convenient data storage. Additionally, an Ethernet interface is provided, enabling seamless connectivity to a local network environment. This facilitates real-time data communication.
- Multi languages and Global certificates <Languages> English, Chinese, Korean, German, French, Russian, and Japanese <Certificates> TÜV(EU), China, Korea, Japan, MCERTS(UK), GOST(Russia)
- Upgrade to IP42 version (Optionally available) A special rear cover is attached to prevent intrusion of water droplets and solid matter inside the analyzer. The cover offers protection against light rain and facilitates application at field. IP=Ingress protection IP42 means protection against solid objects of 1 mm diameter and greater, and vertically falling water drops when enclosure is titled up to 15 degrees. Wiping off water drops on the measuring spots are necessary in order to obtain accurate value.
- The PG-300 can be utilized as a backup unit or for cross-checking purposes of the Stack Gas Analyzer ENDA series and other non-HORIBA gas analyzers. It can be conveniently deployed to different locations, use branched sampling line and perform continuous measurement up to 5 days* as back up unit.
